Contrapos is born with the intention to promote the extra vergine olive oil produced in Salento in the international markets. It is the result of a strong collaboration among enterprises oriented to quality, characterized by a large offer of different and complementary products. Fruity, delicate, spicy, DOP and biological oils: they meet the market’s requirements both qualitatively and quantitatively.
The consortium stimulates new activities oriented to the continuous improvement in quality standards and takes care, with resourcefulness and zeal, of the imagine and of the development of the associated farms, allowing them to be dynamic, reliable, ready for the challenges of national and international markets.

A commercial proposal with large assortment and with considerable power.

The elevated and qualified productive power of the associated farms represents one of the key factors in the improvement process of extra vergine olive oilproduced by the consortium. You need only to think that the vast olive groves in Salento correspond to a production of oil that is estimated about 20% of the national one and about 7% of that of the world. A very great potentiality always used as basis to create the best oil of the world and a resource that will become one of the protagonists of the European agro-industrial market.
Our farms pay attention to the productive cycle of oil that includes the olive harvest, the old technique of extraction and the transformation in olive oil. This extra vergine product with its large assortment can be used without giving up the correct and balanced way to feed, that of the Mediterranean diet.
